The CCT series test equipment allows your QC personnel to easily and routinely check the condition of your plate and tubular style heat exchanger. No longer will you have to wait for an outside service provider to test your equipment at long annual or semi-annual intervals. Today there is a strong emphasis on combating food born bacteria and creating a hygienic processing environment. You will rest assured that the critical internal condition of your heat exchanger is free of cracks, through holes and other major defects that can jeopardize your products. How Does it Work?
The CCT concept is simple and the results are invaluable. Pressurized plant air is used to charge one side of the heat exchanger. The opposite side of the heat exchanger is left at ambient pressure with the Thermaline CCT tester installed. If there is a defect in a plate, air is pushed through the pressurized side into the ambient side and is seen in the form of a bubble in the CCT tester. If the heat exchanger passes the bubble test, the CCT tester is capable of performing an ultra sensitive time elapsed leak-down test.
